The role:
We have exciting plans to grow our business, product offering and provide more solutions to our customers. You'll be responsible for designing and adding new features to our existing product suite. We see this an excellent opportunity for a Developer to join a very dynamic, ambitious but stable and growing organisation. You will have the opportunity to work on some interesting and cutting-edge products and solutions and you will be joining a collaborative, talented, agile Software Development/Architecture team who pride themselves on delivering the wow.
We are looking for a great Go developer with a strong understanding of how best to leverage and exploit the language’s unique paradigms, idioms, and syntax. Your primary focus will be on developing Go packages and programs that are scalable and maintainable. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.
The requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ professional experience in Golang and Cloud Native apps
- You have developed microservices using Golang, NATS, Redis and other similar technologies
- You’re able to write and maintain automated tests through unit and integration testing
- You have worked with SQL and Cloud database technologies such as PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake
- You’ll have some exposure to a Cloud Platforms like GCP, AWS or Azure as well as Docker, Kubernetes and other cloud functions
- You have developed highly complex software solution using either C, C++ or Java - in addition to Go
- You are a ninja problem-solver
- You thrive in an ambitious, fast-paced, supportive, rewarding but challenging environment
Any of the following skills would be a bonus (but are not essential);
